Termite management
Termites can remain out of sight while moving through concealed routes. MR PESTY’s approach starts with accessible areas, visible evidence and the property’s construction, so treatment decisions are based on the site rather than assumptions.

UNDERSTAND THE SIGNS
When to consider this service
- Mud tubes along walls, skirting, door frames or service penetrations.
- Discarded wings, damaged timber or surfaces that appear hollow or weakened.
- Activity associated with moisture, concealed timber or soil contact.
A PLAN FOR YOUR PREMISES
What the service discussion covers
- 01
Review the history of activity, earlier treatment, affected timber and accessible risk areas.
- 02
Explain inspection limitations, particularly concealed spaces and areas that cannot be accessed.
- 03
Discuss suitable post-construction treatment options, access needs and any proposed drilling before work begins.
- 04
For new construction, discuss treatment stages and coordinate the scope with the building schedule.
BEFORE A VISIT
Preparation starts with clarity
- Provide access to affected rooms and share earlier termite-treatment documents if available.
- Discuss fixed furniture, hidden services, flooring and access restrictions before invasive work is agreed.
- Do not cover suspected activity before the inspection; share clear photos when possible.
Aftercare & prevention
Address moisture and timber-contact issues identified during the visit. Follow the agreed monitoring schedule and report fresh signs. Any warranty, validity period, exclusions and retreatment conditions must be specified in the written quotation.
A question worth asking
Can an inspection see inside every wall?
No. A visual inspection covers accessible areas and visible evidence. Concealed activity cannot always be confirmed without additional investigation, access or specialist assessment.
